What is Title I?
It's the largest federal assistance program for the nation's schools. The goal of Title I is a high quality education for every child.
Why should I know about Title I?
Because it can make a difference in many lives! Title I can help children, parents and teachers.

Title I programs generally offer:
smaller classes, additional help for teachers and assistants, extra time for instruction, and a variety of teaching methods and materials. |

Share a love of learning:
Set a good example, make learning fun, take advantage of resources, read to your child, ask your child to read to you, and limit TV/screen time. |

Show interest in your child's school day:
ask to see school work and praise effort. |

Encourage good study habits:
agree on a time, arrange a quiet place, be ready to help, and show respect for study - don't watch TV or talk with friends whild your child is working. |
