InfoTrac: Student Resource Center Gold
- an excellent reesource for country profiles
For access from outside of CHS, enter the password. It's on the library bookmark.

  1. From the Library Homepage, select InfoTrac from the list of Databases.
  2. Select Student Resource Center Gold.
  3. Select Keyword search and enter your search terms: Krygyzstan
  4. Reference - Useful for Country Profiles, esp. Worldmark Encyclopedia of the Nations
    Magazines & Journals, Newspapers - Useful for National or Regional Issues
  5. Related subjects that can expand your search are on the left sidebar.
  6. Options to narrow the search are also listed on the left sidebar.
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the article for its citation.

EBSCO: MAS Ultra - School Edition
For access from outside of CHS, enter the username and password. It's on the library bookmark.

  1. From the Library Homepage, select EbscoHost from the list of Databases.
  2. From "Secondary How To," select High School Search.
  3. Select only MAS Ultra - School Edition.
  4. Enter search terms: South Korea political systems
    Use multiple terms to focus search: Qatar and United States
  5. Select a relevant document and open HTML Full Text or PDF Full Text.
  6. Print, e-mail, or save the document.
  7. Citation information is at the top of the document.

Citing your sources
Keeping track of your sources:

As you work, copy the citation information of each source that you use.
Citation information for online resources include:

the URL
name of author (if there is an author)
title of article or webpage
organization sponsoring the page
database name
date you found the information

Using Citation Maker

This online software does the work of putting together a Works Cited (bibliography) list for you. No need to worry about where to underline or put quotations!

1. Get to the Citation Maker from the link above or from the Library Homepage.
2. Click on “Citation Maker,” “OSLIS Secondary Citation Maker” and “Citation Maker” again.
3. Select “Print,” “Electronic,” “World Wide Web,” or “Interview.” See the table below for help.
4. Enter the citation information in the boxes. (If an article or website lists no author, leave it blank.)
5. Select “Save Citation.”
6. Continue with other citations and select “Show My Citations” when finished.
7. Copy and paste the formatted citations into a word-processing document.
8. Alphabetize the list of citations.
