A noncommercial gateway to free online academic resources for high school students It. features interactive learning activities, an ongoing poetry contest, a reference collection, college information, and subject guides for English, mathematics, social studies, science, world languages, arts, and technology.


SparkNotes is a collection of free online study guides to approximately 100 literature classics; contains sections on context, characters, overall summary, chapter-by-chapter summary and commentary, study questions, and a message board for collaborative learning.

NoodleTools is a free suite of interactive tools designed to aid students and professionals with their online research. From selecting a search engine and finding some relevant sources, to citing those sources in MLA style, NoodleTools makes online research easier!

First-time filers learn what materials they need to complete their Oregon State tax returns, how to make sense of a W2, how to interpret Form 1099-INT, and how to complete a self-calculating Form 40S (short form) - and get their refund. They also can learn about how tax money is spent, get the answers to frequentlyasked questions, and find definitions of tax terms.

Calling themselves "the oldest and largest free Q&A service on the Internet, "All Experts" boasts a network of a thousand question-answering volunteers. Find an expert by navigating through the subject directory. Clicking on your topic (such as Geography or Spanish), you'll be presented with an annotated list of volunteers. Each expert has a profile with ratings and comments from previous question askers, so you can choose your volunteer based on past performance.
