Ms. Roth's Projects: REACH and Research

Spring 2003

Projects do more than double duty in Ms. Roth's Language Arts classes. They provide an opportunity for students to apply and develop their skills in regard to a topic of personal interest. In the annual REACH projects, students learn about their own families in relation to history. In research projects, student learn to seek information and be discriminating about sources. Then with both projects, they explore communication skills, from how to present their findings graphically, to making an oral presentation to their peers.
