After-School Child Care

What the YMCA has to offer you and your student:

• Before school care: grades K-5 (beginning at 7 am)
• After school care: grades K-5 (until 6 pm)
• Childcare for non-school and early release days
• State certified, fun and energetic staff
• Safe and secure environment
• Healthy snacks provided

Through a fee-based program, all Edgewood students have the opportunity to take part in before and after school child care. Our on-site, YMCA child care center also gives kindergartners a chance to extend their half-day by providing care between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm .

 

During their YMCA time, your child will have the opportunity to explore, interact, and play with fellow students, while engaging in projects based around monthly themes. In addition, the YMCA will be working closely with Susan Ventura, our kindergarten teacher, to extend upon any themes studied in class.

 

This child care program will only be offered on our school campus if at least eight students are enrolled in the program. If you are interested in the program, please contact Holly at 686-9622, or e-mail her at holly@eugeneymca.org.
