What is the parent group?

Our group is primarily a fundraising body that generates funds to supplement and enrich the educational and social environment of Edgewood Community Elementary School.

The group’s steering committee is composed of officers and committee chairpersons. One of the officers also serves on the Site Council. We have grade level representatives (two from each grade) and committee/project chairpersons.

We meet on the third Tuesday of each month in the school library from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. During the month of January our Fun at Heart sub-committee meets weekly on Friday mornings from 8:15-9:00 to prepare for our biggest fundraiser, Fun at Heart!

You can volunteer to be a regular member of the group, or you can just offer to help on a particular project.
