Parent-Teacher Conferences

Individual meetings with your child's teacher. More info and sign ups coming soon! Our conference schedule will be:

• Wed, Oct 29 - Early Halloween Celebration, including parade, costumes and more. Regular dismissal at noon for kinders and 1 pm for all others.
• Thurs, Oct 30 - NO SCHOOL - Conferences noon - 8 pm
• Fri, Oct 31 - NO SCHOOL - Conferences 8 am - 3:30 pm

Parent Council - Get involved at Edison!

All parents welcome. Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm (October meeting is 10/14). Come to observe, check it out, or dive right in to help plan special events and fundraisers and support our teachers. Child care available at school; call the office to reserve.

Our next big events are the Book Fair and Fall Family Night, Tues, Oct 21, 6:30-8:30 and our Fall Coffee Fundraiser, earmarked for technology integration at Edison, beginning Nov 7. Contact Kirsten Frazer or Sarah Esser if you'd like to get involved!

Emergency Response Week, Oct 13-17

We'll be practicing all our emergency drills throughout the week, for fire, earthquake and other critical situations. More info can be found in the October Toucan Times.

Web Editor Needed!

We are looking for a web editor to work with Kirsti this year and take on the web site next year when her kids are both at Roosevelt. Talk to Tom or to Kirsti Haugen.

If you have an item for the web site or calendar, email Kirsti Haugen, our web editor. Updates are generally made at least twice per month.
