Edison Elementary (red star on map) is located in the historic South University neighborhood just south of the University of Oregon, on East 22nd Ave, between Emerald and Onyx Streets.

Many students walk or bike to school. Contact the school office or Smart Ways to School to participate in a walking-, biking- or car pool.

School Bus: Contact the school office to learn about school bus routes.

Public Transportation: Take LTD Bus Route #27 and get off on Agate near East 22nd. Walk 1 block west (downhill) on East 22nd to Edison. Or, take LTD Bus Route #81, get off on Harris near East 22nd, and walk 3 blocks east on East 22nd Ave. For schedules, fares and other LTD bus info, visit www.ltd.org.

Walking, Biking or Driving: walking school bus

From Franklin Blvd, go south on Agate, right (west) on East 22nd. Edison is on the left in the second block.

From Hilyard Street, go east on East 24th, turn left (north) on Onyx, then right on East 22nd. Edison's front entry is on your right.

Watch for kids as you drive near Edison. Please have children exit cars on the curb side only and cross only at cross walks! Edison does not have a parking lot. Park on the street, but avoid yellow zones.
