Results from our Parent and Student Survey, Spring 2006
Principal Tom Maloney would like to thank the parents who were able to attend the November 16th Parent/Student Survey Results presentation. The survey results show a high level of satisfaction on the part of students and parents and when combined with other indicators help identify specific areas for improvement. The notes from the presentation are now available online. Take a few minutes to review the results.
Our Vision
We believe that cooperative learning and process-focused instruction help to create an environment in which children are eager to learn.
We place emphasis on all children taking active responsibility for their learning and all staff and parents taking responsibility to support their learning.
We pledge to create a safe learning environment where mutual respect, exploration and risk taking are encouraged and where mistakes are regarded as positive learning experiences.
In such an environment, creativity, critical thinking, care and concern for others, and problem solving skills are developed which will prepare our children to live in a diverse and increasingly dynamic world.
