Volunteering at Edison

We'd LOVE to have you volunteer at Edison!

First Things First...

Please look over the District's Information for 4J Volunteers, including the Volunteer Guidelines, information and forms you'll need to complete (at right). Print the forms, fill them out and turn them into the office.

If you volunteer to drive students for school activities, you must have adequate insurance, an up-to-date insurance form on file in the office, plus use seat belts and booster seats as required by law. If your insurance information changes (including expiration dates), please stop by the office to update your form.

Women’s History Month
Edison celebrates Women’s History Month uniquely through the efforts of Edison mothers and fifth grade girls.  Dressed in the appropriate style and with knowledge of the historical figures life and contributions, Edison mothers “become” the historical women for our classrooms the first two weeks of March.  The annual Women’s History play is presented by interested fifth grade girls. The girls research, write a short summary of their historical figure’s life, rehearse for several weeks, then perform a play for all the classrooms and parents.  Contact Denise Jessup 683-7641
