The Intermediate/Advanced Club:
When: Fridays from 1:30-2:30 pm (accelerated program 2:30-3:30)Where: The Gym
Taught by: Jerry Ramey
If you already know how the pieces move and some basic chess strategies, you should be in the Intermediate Chess Club. This group will begin meeting on September 28th. There will be three terms this year and each will cost around $40. You may signup for any or all terms.
New to the advanced club this year is the ACCELERATED
CHESS PROGRAM.
This program is for those who wish to learn to play well, more rapidly. Students who participate will remain an extra hour after the conclusion of Chess Club (parents will pick up at 3:30 p.m. rather than 2:30). These classes will be smaller than the Club sessions; therefore players will receive more individual attention. Emphasis will be on learning in a program designed to also be fun. Fees are approximately $60 per term.
