Art Club - See you next year!

Art Club 2009 Info:

When:  Every Tuesday (15 sessions) - January 6th through April 21st, 3-4 PM

Where:  Mme. Paquins's  1st Grade Classroom

What to Bring:  Your imagination and a Painting Shirt

Fee:  $20 to help cover the cost of materials

Parents:  We need 3 parent volunteers per week to help with the projects.  That’s right, you get to have fun too! Parents or care givers must commit to volunteering 2 times during the session and to bring snack once for the group; Kindergarteners need to be accompanied to each session as they need more support with the projects.

Info: The focus of this year's Art Club will be hands-on artwork, blended with art principles, during class using a variety of materials & styles including:  mosaics, watercolor, abstract, collage, pastels, colored pencils, stone work, silk painting, and many more.  We'll also have monthly critiques of artwork, guest artists teaching us their styles, and finish with displaying the students' work at the Art and Science Fair in April 2009.

 
There will be space for up to 24 students in Art Club for 2008-2009. These spaces will be filled by Lottery. Sign up time will be DECEMBER 1-5th, 2008
