Howard Elementary BEST After School Program

Howard Elementary will be offering the BEST after school program this Fall. We are in our 8th year of having the BEST program at our school. We have found that our students really enjoyed and benefited from this program.

The Best program is funded through a federal 21 Century Community Learning Center grant and the school district.  The BEST program will operate Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:10 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. starting Monday October 1, 2007. Students will receive help in Reading and Reading Comprehension as well as have an opportunity to take fun enrichment classes. Students will have a meal after school at 3:20 p.m. A school bus will take students home at 4:50 p.m. each day of the program. School staff is recommending students to the BEST program.
