If you are considering sending a child to one of the programs at Kelly, welcome! Here are the steps to take.
Registration
If you are considering enrolling your student next year in any 4J school or program, other than your designated neighborhood school, or the school your student is now attending, please note the following time line. The school district’s open enrollment policy allows students to attend any 4J school, provided there is space available, but requires completion of a School Choice form. Any student not in our attendance area, who would like to attend Colin Kelly, needs to complete a School Choice Request form.
Kelly will be holding our School Choice information meetings on January 27, February 23 and February 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Kelly library. Forms must be returned to the Education Center, 200 North Monroe Street by March 19, at 5:00 p.m. Students will be accepted based on a lottery conducted at the Education Center. Results of the lottery will be available the week of April 5. If you have questions, contact the school office at 541-790-4740 or the Education Center at 541-790-7700.
Yujin Gakuen ~ Yujin Gakuen is a K - 12 program. As such, fifth grade students transitioning from the elementary YG program do not need to fill out a School Choice form if they are continuing on with the sixth grade Colin Kelly program. Similarly, 6th and 7th graders currently enrolled in the YG program do not need to complete a School Choice form.
