Kelly Co-Pilots
All the parents of all the students who attend any of the schools at Kelly Middle Schools are welcomed at our parent group which is called "Kelly Co-Pilots". The parents meet monthly to hear up-dates, learn how they can volunteer at the school and what is coming up as far as fund raising and academics. We have a large and interested group. Please feel free to come to any meeting. We always provide an open computer lab for the students during the meeting time.

Site Council
Kelly Middle Schools Site Council is made up of representatives from all areas of the school's operation: staff, students, and parents. Meetings are held at 3:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month during the school year, and are open to any parent or staff member. Each member of the Site Council is selected by his/her stakeholder group. The Site Council is responsible for:
• the development of plans to improve the professional growth of the
school's staff
• the improvement of the school's instructional program
• the development and coordination of plans for the implementation
of programs in the school
• the administration of grants-in-aid for the professional development
of teachers and classified employees.

Volunteer Opportunities
Kelly is really open to volunteers! Parents and community members are welcomed with big smiles to all the events. All volunteers must pass a background check to protect all our students but once that is done, the volunteers work can begin.
We ask that volunteers sign in at the main office. This lets us know that you are working and we can cover you with insurance that way too. Volunteer hours are always added up because we often use those totals in grant writing. A volunteer's hour is worth an average of $17!
