Classroom Responsibilities
Assemblies
Teachers are responsible for managing student behavior during assemblies. Assembly Behavior Expectations will be distributed with the Monday Notes before the first assembly in September.
Teachers will preteach appropriate assembly behavior prior to each assembly.
All staff is responsible to supervise all students traveling to and from and during assemblies. Intervention may include the teacher correcting the student, moving the student, and/or removing the student from the assembly to time-out.
Students in time-out will complete a written assignment on appropriate assembly behavior.
Students that behave inappropriately should be written a behavior referral.
