Classroom Responsibilities

Students Out of Class of Off School Grounds

Students Out of Class
To maximize learning, students should remain in class. Use the following guidelines:
1. Students should use their planners as a hall pass if there is valid reason for them to be out of class.
2. Disruptive students should not be left in the hall.
3. Under normal circumstances, students should not go to lockers after class starts.
4. Bathroom visits should be kept to a minimum.
5. Generally only one student should be allowed out of class at a time.

Students Off School Grounds
Once a student has arrived at school, they are required to stay on school grounds. Students must not be sent on errands or accompany staff members off school grounds without permission from their parents. Teachers are personally liable for students under their supervision during the regular school day when on a school sponsored activity.
