Threatening Calls
1. When a call is received, note the time of the call.
2. When the caller hangs up, IMMEDIATELY press back into the SAME LINE that received the call. (You MUST DO THIS BEFORE ANOTHER CALL COMES IN or before you make ANY other call on that line, as the trace will only record the last number that called your line).
3. Dial *57 DO NOT DIAL 9 Wait for the “capture message” and hang up.
4. Call the police officer assigned to our region and report the call, the telephone number that received the call, and the time of the call.
5. Call
CIS @ 3329 to report the call for our records and follow up.
