Read Right
Read Right is a unique approach to teaching reading that enables students with reading problems to improve their reading skills in a relatively brief amount of time. Each student is tutored daily and is also expected to read independently on his or her own in level-appropriate materials. The Read Right system of instruction integrates knowledge from brain research, learning theory, and reading theory and is consistently successful in permanently eliminating reading problems.

Noon Mentoring Program
It may not seem like a lot - adults from the community volunteering to come in every Wednesday during lunch time to sit down with a student and talk during lunch. But it means a lot. Many students yearn for an adult to listen to them, to share their dreams, to encourage them and simply be there consistently through their days. Sometimes parents aren't in a position to meet all these needs. So folks in our neighborhood have stepped up to help. The results are shown by happy faces, improved school attendance, and even in rising grades. It's pretty simple. It has huge rewards for all.
