
When enrolled in P.E. students will need:
1. A pair of shorts
2. A T-shirt (to be purchased from the P.E. teacher/office)
3. Socks
4. Tennis shoes (no black soles)
All P.E. items should be marked with the student's name. Students will be provided with a locker and lock in the locker room to secure their clothes. Clothes should be taken home and washed weekly to insure good hygiene.
The cost of this card is $5.00.The purchase of an Activity Card supports student body activities, such as assemblies, movies, speakers, parties, newspaper, clubs, and handbooks. This card, issued upon payment of the $5.00 fee, provides current identification, as well as reduced entrance fees to Madison school activities, and some high school games. An additional benefit is the LTD bus sticker that is valid only on a student ID/Activity Card. Students who have this sticker may ride any LTD bus for free through June 30, 2008. Note: all students must have a signed permission slip turned in to the school office, to recieve this sticker!
There is a fee of $30.00 per year for all students for consumables for the following: Vocabulary Workbook, Science, Technology, Art, and Spanish. NOTE:ThIs fee may be paid $15.00 per sememster or in even smaller increments if needed. We realize that back to school fees can be overwhelming for some families, especially for those who have students in multiple schools. In order to ease the financial burden and give parents a reasonable amount of time to pay fees, we are happy to accept multiple smaller payments over the course of the year. We do send out a bill in February as a reminder to all students who still owe this fee.
Twenty lunches may be purchased in the cafeteria for $46.00 Lunches ($2.30) and milk or juice ($ .50) may also be purchased each day as students go through the line. Breakfast prices are $1.25 each.
There is an athletic participation fee of $50 for Track. Students may request a partial/full scholarship if needed, but this should be done prior to the start of track meets. Parents should submit a request for scholarship aid when their student turns in their pre-participation paperwork. Parents requesting scholarship aid should plan on helping out at track meets if at all possible.. All applications will be confidential and processed by the Assistant Principal, with approval by the building administrator.
Students will be expected to pay for all books they lose or damage! Parents please note: library books usually cost $5 - $20 and textbooks cost approximately $65; students may not receive their yearbooks until lost textbooks are returned or paid for, or until the end of the last day of school. Students will be informed several weeks in advance of yearbook distribution, if they have missing library or textbooks.
Yearbooks will be available for student to purchase. 07/08 prices will be $20.00 if purchased with an activity card or $22.00 if purchased alone. After April 15, 2008, the price will increase to $25.00. Prices subject to change.
Yearbooks will be passed out at the end of the day on the last day of school. BONUS: students who owe no fees, and have no missing books or school owned property, will receive their yearbooks earlier, on Monday, June 16!
