Abramowitz, Instructional
Assistant
email Sandra I have always enjoyed traveling, camping, hosting students from foreign countries. I also love abstract art, music, and dance. My most important hobby is drinking good coffee! I have been working with children for over 5 years both elementary and middle school. This is my first year working at Meadowlark and I am very lucky to have been placed in such wonderful school. I was born in New York City. I like to take long walks by the river and spend time with my daughter when I am not working at the school. My family consists of myself, husband and daughter. We moved to Eugene about 5 years with our dog Bitsy. Last Christmas we bought Prince Kyle a beautiful white cat with gray and black marks. We live in the South Hills and enjoy a quiet neighborhood. |

Jan
Hahn, school
secretary
email Jan My hobbies are playing the piano, horseback riding, water color painting, gardening, golf and antique shopping!!! ((My husband calls it my “Retail Therapy!”) In my spare time, my side job is creating wedding cakes! I LOVE working in my garden and using my favorite tool the "rotor tiller!" You should see me in my “pucky” boots, overalls and straw hat covered from head to toe in dirt! One of my simple pleasures in life is sitting in the sunshine on my front porch, with the dog and cats gathered around me, demanding attention! . We just sit there and enjoy the warmth of the sunshine. Jim and I have 6 adult children who have families of their own. We have 14 grandchildren that range in age from 18 months to 17 years old. Two of the grandchildren live in Japan. Jim and I own the “Tool Peddler” and two mobile SK Tool trucks. He sells tools to companies that need specialty tools for vehicle repairs. Jim has been in the tool business for 40 years and knows every tool and its purpose, but I am still trying to figure out what the difference is between a drill bit and screwdriver bit for my Makita! As many of you know, I love animals and have a boarder collie, 1 indoor cat, 4 outdoor cats, 6 sheep, two horses and a donkey. Before we purchased our first horse, my grandson Jason, told his Grandfather that he had to give Grama a loan so she can buy a HORSE! Well, it looks like that worked because we now have two horses and the donkey! I guess one of the reasons I am still at the elementary level is I am still a “kid at heart!” Can you tell???? |
