We are looking for parent volunteers to assist with some upcoming events as well as year long programs at Roosevelt Middle School. If you are available and want to get involved, please contact Nancy Collie, RMS Volunteer Coordinator at 687-3227 or collie_n@4j.lane.edu.

•Holiday Assistance Program (HAP) – End of November through December 18th.  If you are interested in volunteering your time to assist with organizing food baskets to be donated to RMS families over the Winter Vacation please contact Nancy Collie.  This is a wonderful program and helps many families.

•Before and After School Homework Club – Volunteers are needed to assist students with homework before school 8:15-8:45am and after school 3:30-4:45pm Monday through Friday.  If you are interested, please contact Mary Peterson at Peterson_ma@4j.lane.edu.

•Parents At Lunch – Due to many staff members being unavailable to assist during lunch time, parents are needed to assist during first and second lunch to roam the cafeteria, halls as well as outside.   Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.  1st Lunch 11:40am-12:25pm 2nd Lunch 1:00pm-1:40pm. 

•Parents Before and After School – Parents are also needed to assist with supervising students before and after school in the halls as well as outside RMS school grounds.
Morning 8:15-9:00am and After School 3:15-4:00pm. 

•Supervision for Activities During Lunch – We are looking for a few parents to help supervise the students while outside in the field (sports activities) or in the gym.
1st Lunch – 11:40am-12:25pm and 2nd Lunch 1:00-1:45pm.

•E-scrip/Scrip – This is a Parents At Roosevelt Fundraiser that happens all year long.  Parents, if you are interested in assisting with promoting and/or selling
E-scrip/Scrip, please contact Nancy Collie or Maggie Carlson at 790-8500.

•Outdoor Adventure Course – This is a new and upcoming course designed to get students out in the natural world working with members in the community to perform scientific investigations and to increase their awareness of the natural world.  This team is being taught between Science, PE and assistance from Language Arts.  Parent volunteers are needed to assist in obtaining donations from various businesses to support the students with gear, prizes, camping gear etc.  A donation letter will be provided.  If you are interested or have additional questions on how you can help, please contact Chad Heidtke at 790-8500 or heidtke_c@4j.lane.edu/
