eScrip and Scrip


First and foremost, we wish to thank all those parents and staff who are regularly buying scrip and/or are e-Scrip users. We can't emphasize enough what a great way this is to raise funds for SBMS, for it's the only fund-raiser that does not cost any of us an extra penny for anything, yet the potential earnings are in the tens of thousands of dollars. Regarding e-Scrip, if you haven't registered your commonly used credit, debit, and club cards, we hope you will take this opportunity to do so right away. Then we'll get anywhere from a 2% - 8% share of your purchase price anytime you use your card at a participating merchant, such as PC Market of Choice, Wild Oats, Safeway, Big 5, Eddie Bauer, Chevron, and many others. If you're already enrolled, it would be wise and wonderful of you to check on your registered cards and update them, as needed. Some cards may have expired or you may wish to register additional cards. If you haven't registered your Safeway card, please do, for we're getting a percentage of your purchase price if you do, no matter how you pay!  Coming soon, if you don't know your password, you'll be able to log in to "my e-Scrip" using your name and a registered credit card number.


SCHOOL FUND STORE

A Spencer Butte parent has developed a web-site where we can purchase books, DVDs and music over the internet.  Proceeds from items purchased will be donated to Spencer Butte.  Please check out the site.  The address is http://www.schoolfundstore.com/

Once you reach the site, fill in the state of Oregon, the city of Eugene and the school name Spencer Butte.  There is a detailed link describing how the profit is determined.  The selection is extensive and is an easy way to shop and donate at the same time.

Even though we have discontinued the magazine sale as our Fall fundraiser, you can still support Spencer Butte through the online purchase of magazines.  Forty percent of your purchase will go to Spencer Butte!

SHOP AT OFFICE DEPOT for your school supplies.  Office Depot’s “Free supplies for your school” program is their way of helping out our school.  When parents, students and teachers make any purchase at Office Depot (any day of the year!), 5% of the total amount spent will be tallied toward a merchandise credit for our school.  Please let them know before they begin to ring up your transaction that you wish the credit to go to Spencer Butte Middle School (use our school ID #70083673).  Spencer Butte thanks you in advance!
