ALL STUDENTS NEED:

• Three-ring notebook/binder

•Notebook paper, lined with margins (300 sheets at least)

•One set of notebook dividers

•Zippered plastic/nylon pouch for carrying pencils/pens

•Pencils (#2), at least twelve, sharpened and with your name written on them (6th graders need 24)

•Pink erasers (large)

•One black felt tip or gel pen (non permanent) (permanent markers not allowed for students)

•Six pens (two black, two blue & two red)

•Colored pencil set 

•Glue sticks (6th and 7th graders need 6, 8th graders need 12)

•Scissors

•Compass and Protractor

•Wooden ruler marked with inches and centimeters

•Scientific calculator - you may wait to talk to your teacher about this or pick one up on sale this summer.  
        You should be able to get a Texas Instruments or Sharp or similar calculator for $10 - $15.

•Two boxes of tissues for the first half of school year (give to first period teachers or the office)

•P. E. Clothes. Students need shorts (no zippers, pockets or snaps), two t-shirts (white or gray – we will be selling white shirts with “Spencer Butte PE” in blue ink for $10 ea or 2 for $15 on Back in Business Day) athletic shoes and socks.  (Please mark all clothing with student’s name)

• Lock for P. E. locker - please get the old fashioned “spin combination” kind (others, including “key types”  
        cause problems) and practice opening the lock at home with your child

•highlighters (set of 4)

•Spanish students need one spiral notebook for note taking

•Art 2 students - 100 page spiral sketchbook and colored pencils

•Art 3 students bring $10.00 to class for Art Journal and pick up list of other supplies needed

•Individual teachers may require a few additional supplies

SIXTH GRADERS ALSO NEED:

•two spiral notebooks, single subject wide ruled (for block class)

•one 1-1/2 inch three ring binder with set of 5 dividers (for social studies)

SEVENTH GRADERS ALSO NEED:

•one 1-1/2 inch three ring binder (for social studies)

•two “2 pocket with 3 prongs” folders (for block class)

•one Pen/USB drive (512 mb size ok) (for block class)

EIGHTH GRADERS ALSO NEED:

•one Meade 5 star spiral notebook (or two regular spiral notebooks)  - (for social studies)

•one Pen/USB drive (512 mb size ok) (for block class)

•one composition notebook (for block class)

LEARNING CENTER LANGUAGE ARTS BLOCK STUDENTS NEED:

•three composition books (100 page)

•one spiral notebook

•Pencils (#2 good quality like Ticonderoga or Papermate) to leave in class (3 doz)
