Annie And The Old One

In this paper, i will be talking about Annie and the old one.
Annie and the old one was written by Miska Miles.
This book is about Navajo indians that live in the south west
desard. There was Annie, Annies dad, Annies mom, and Annies grandmother. They all lived in a hogan. Annie was very happy till
Annies grandmother said she was going to mother earth that meant that she was going to die when the mother was finished with the rug.
The mother kept working on the rug Annie did not want her to keep working on the rug. So Annie made lots of trouble first she took her
teachers shoe then she let the sheep out then she un weaved the rug.
Her grandmother told her she cant hold back time. so she disided to
learn how to weave. So she learned how to weave. And Annie was the
one to weave the rug.
I liked the story because it takes place in the desert and has to
do with indians.
