I read a story called Adventure Along the White River in the Sky.

The characters were the Village people and the canoe maker and the sky people, the robin and the beaver, sky chief and the native American.
The canoe maker was making canoe early in the morning and late at night . The canoe maker was captured by the sky peopleThe village people made a chain of arrows and climbed up to rescue the canoe maker The beaver took some fire and canoe maker promised he wouldn't make canoes early in the morning or lateat night don't make to much noise early in the morning or late at night
