Type a specific question, phrase or Name.

  Tips
Ultraseek offers the speed, accuracy and comprehensiveness of Ultrasmart, only it does not include extras like news and related topics. If it's pure results you want, try Ultraseek.

Ultrasmart is the choice for the searcher who wants more than just results. In addition to sites from the largest directory on the Web, Ultrasmart also provides topics that are relevant to your query. Infoseek also serves up related news stories under News Center, on the left side of the page. Under Smart Info, also on the left-hand side, there are a series of helpful tools like People Finder, Company Profiles , and Maps--among others.

In Ultrasmart, you can also choose to browse a directory topic that interests you on the home page instead of searching. Pick a topic on the home page--say "Music"--and click on that. The next page will show more music sub-topics to choose from, creating a pathway to whatever interests you.

  • Look for words with the same prefix.
Example-- type key* to find key, keying, keyhole, keyboard, and so on.

  • Search for all forms of a word.
Example-- type sink** to find sink, sinking, sank, and sunk.

  • Search with the keyword NEAR, rather than AND, for words close to each other.
Example-- type system AND manager or system NEAR manager, to look for the words system and manager on the same page.

But with NEAR, the returned pages are ranked in order of proximity: The closer together the words are, the higher the rank of that page.

  • Put quotation marks around keywords if you want Index Server to take them literally.
    Example-- "system near manager"

  • Refine your queries with the AND NOT keywords to exclude certain text
Example-- type surfing AND NOT the Net, to find all instances of surfing but not surfing the Net.

Remember: The first time is the slowest.
If this is your first time using all4one, it will take a while to load all of the graphics for the four search engines. If you wait, later searches will be much faster, since the graphics are in your cache.

Input some search words: To get more matches, DON'T use capital letters in your search.
